My steam has messed up for some reason and keeps giving me the following warning:
"Steam has found a problem with your local games file. Games files will now be re-acquired from the steam servers."
If some1 could tell me how to sort this out it would help a lot thanks

sounds like a file bug and its trying to redownload them.
if not, just delete local content then re-install the games ??

pmsl and yeah, I'd guess he works in customer support too.
Uhhh... I seem to remember there being a .blob file or something that I deleted and most people tend to delete which usually resolves alot of problems.
Code: .\Valve\Steam\ClientRegistry.blob .\Valve\Steam\AppUpdateStats.blob
I can't remember which one, I think its probs the Registry one, but you'd have to get someone to confirm that. > . >
